Michelle Ann Foster Costantino
November 10, 1970 - March 8, 2025
Come celebrate Michelle's life on Saturday, May 10th. Details and RSVP information are below if you can attend.
Michelle Ann Foster Costantino, beloved spouse, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend, passed away peaceably in NYC on March 8, 2025 after a courageous, seven year battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Michelle was born November 10, 1970, in Florissant, MO, to Robert H. And Stephanie J. Foster. She spent her childhood years in Michigan and New Jersey, moving with her family to Ketsch, West Germany in 1984, where she graduated from Heidelberg American High School. She studied Accounting at Penn State University, and after graduation, joined the Arthur Andersen accounting firm. After initial training, AA assigned her to a two-year assignment to their Frankfurt, Germany office because of her familiarity with the German language. After returning to the US, she later joined Ernst & Young supporting federal government clients Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in Washington. D.C. Shortly after being named a Partner, Michelle left E&Y to join Renaissance Technologies, a hedge fund in New York, where she was named Treasurer and for 17 years “set an unmatched standard of devotion, comaraderie and professionalism.”
Michelle and Michael Costantino were married in 2006 and she immediately doubled the size of the family that loved her. Although dedicated to her profession, Michelle most enjoyed spending her free time with Michael, her extended family and friends at their second home of Montauk on Long Island, either on their “mini-yacht” (as referred to by their nieces and nephews) or the beautiful ocean beaches. Their home in Montauk became the scene of many fabulous parties and smaller gatherings hosted by Michelle and Michael and enjoyed by their entire group of family and friends.
Michelle achieved remarkable successes in both her professional and personal life, yet her greatest legacy lies in how she lived life to the fullest despite her illness. Her bright smile and loving intentions will forever be cherished by those who knew her, as she generously shared her experiences with loved ones.
